Did you know that Walk With the Stars is SCDAA\u2019s largest event dedicated to finding better treatments and a cure for sickle cell disease? Every dollar that you raise goes towards preventing the complications of sickle cell disease through awareness, education, advocacy and research!
\nSickle Cell Disease Association of America, Inc. will host the 6th<\/sup>\u00a0Annual Walk with the Stars, a 1K, 2K and 5K walk\/run, on June 22, 2019 at the Canton Waterfront Park, 3001 Boston Street, Baltimore, MD 21224.
\nWalk with the Stars is one of SCDAA\u2019s largest events dedicated to finding better treatments and a cure for sickle cell disease (SCD). Every dollar that you raise goes towards preventing the complications of sickle cell disease through awareness, education, advocacy and research. SCDAA to-date has raised over $500,000 from this event for better treatments and improvements in the quality of health for individuals, families and communities affected by sickle cell disease.
\nWhen you participate in the Walk with the Stars, you are helping to build a future where there is a universal cure for sickle cell. Together we are stronger. Together we can break the sickle cycle.
\nWalk with the Stars, is the perfect opportunity to gather with friends, loved ones and co-workers to make a life-impacting change for all those affected by sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait. United with every walker and runner, together we can raise the necessary funds which will get us that much closer to finding a universal cure!
